THE HAUNTED TRAVELS BOOK with INTERACTIVE WEBSITE SERIES
Traveling the state, Kat and Bev have met many reputable people who have described paranormal experiences so powerful it made them true believers in ghosts and demons. These individuals recounted fascinating stories and identified locations they sincerely believe to be haunted. Are they simply stories, urban legends, folklore or fact? That is what motivated Kat and Bev to begin their new "Haunted Travels" book series. They wanted to go beyond the myth and legend to the truth behind reports of hauntings.
Since 2007, Kat and Bev have completed over 200 investigations. Stories include investigations into some of Michigan's unsolved murders, disasters, criminals activity, and well-known people in American history. The site of their investigations take them to historic restaurants, hotels, bed and breakasts, and other historical sites all with a strong reputation of paranormal activity.
Each investigation is approached with a skeptics eye. When possible, they will use outside specialists to objectively look at and and assess suspect evidence. All in an effort to remove the myth and storytelling associated with ghosts and hauntings to find the real truth.
IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT THE HAUNTING ... BUT THE HISTORY THAT CREATES THE HAUNTING.
For
Kat and Bev, it's not just about the haunting but the history that creates the haunting. For each story, Kat and Bev will spend weeks and sometimes months researching the history of each locations. If paranormal evidence can be connected to actual historical events, it reinforces/validates the haunting.
EACH STORY IS WEB INTERACTIVE
Though their books stand on their own, to give the reader a full three-dimensional experience, each story is web interactive. In the password protected "Secret Room" of this website (www.hauntedtravelsmi.com) the reader will have access to behind-the-scene photographs, hear audio and see video evidence collected and described in the story.
Kat and Bev started out as skeptics. What they have learned is that there is something out there that can't be explained. Some things that defy logical explanation ... something paranormal.
