Following Friday night's meet and greet, guests head to Downtown Mackinac for a Haunted History Walking Tour

HAUNTS OF MACKINAC - DOWNTOWN HAUNTED HISTORY TOUR (Friday Night)
TIME: 90 Minutes

This tour starts on the Main Street. On this tour, you'll hear the eerie tales, ghost stories and history of Mackinac Island. This tour begins downtown and ends at Mission Point Resort.

TRIP TO DEVIL's KITCHEN and THE INVESTIGATION OF THE UNSOLVED MURDER OF FRANCES LACEY
Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (times approximate)

On a warm summer's day in late July 1960 a middled-aged widow, Mrs. Frances Lacey, took a much needed vacation on Mackinac Island. On Sunday morning, she decided to walk to a family cottage from downtown Mackinac Island to an area of the Island known as British Landing. She left downtown Mackinac sometime after breakfast and never arrived at her family's cottage. What happened to Mrs. Lacey remained a mystery until her ravaged body was found in a wooded area near the island's west side.


Her senseless murder made headlines news. After months of investigation with many suspects brought in and released, her murder remains unsolved.

** GHASTLY MACKINAC CANDLELIGHT TOUR. A one hour historic walking tour of FORT MACKINAC followed by a
90 minute paranormal investigation

6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - Ghastly Fort Mackinac Candlelight Tour & Paranormal Investigation (f

8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. - Investigation outside Fort Mackinac

Ghastly Mackinac: This is a candlelight guided tour of the fort by a Fort Mackinac costumed historian. They will share some of the darker history of the fort - horrible deaths, horrific punishments to shattering disease. Following the 1 hour tour guests will be given 90 minutes of free time to explore the fort grounds and some of its buildings on their own. Guests who have been on the tour before, may chose to skip it and immediately begin their investigation. For those taking the tour, you will not begin yoru paranormal investigation of the Fort's interior grounds and buildings


Investigation of Fort Mackinac, Interior Grounds and Buildings
All fort buildings will be open to guests to investigation. Haunted Travels of Michigan Team Leaders will be stationed at key locations to assist with leading paranormal investigations.


Investigation of Fort Mackinac, Exterior Grounds
Foilowing the investigation of the Fort's interior grounds and buildings, the team will leave the fort and continue investigation of the surrounding grounds (there have been reports of apparitions and other paranormal phenomena on the grounds surrounding the fort walls

NIGHT TIME INVESTIGATION - ROOM 2200, STRAITS LODGE

ROOM 2200 as seen on SyFy series "GHOST HUNTERS"
ROOM 2200 will be open the entire day for your paranormal investigation. This room has been considered the most paranormally active areas at the hotel. This is the room Jason Hawes (GHOST HUNTERS) spent a sleepless night.

INVESTIGATION OF STRAITS LODGE
The Straits Lodge comprise lodging rooms most to the back of Mission Point Resort. The Straits Lodge is where many Haunted Travels of Michigan guests stay. We have found paranormal in many of the rooms at the Straaits, which includes Room 2200. Why this area is active remains unknow. However, several EVPs have been recorded in the main gathering room and several of the hotel rooms. Following the investigation of Fort mackina, Haunted Travels of Michigan team members will conduct further investigations in the main gathering room at the Straits Lodges and surrounding grounds.
